The M3 badge itself has been a likable and favorite model among (car) enthusiasts, especially those who want power and performance. It’s quite understandable why the M3 is likable, really, considering that it has the perfect combination of comfort, reliability, and also performance. It’s also quite logical if the company is preparing a special edition, known as the G80, for the upcoming year that debuts in 2025.
The Updated Plan
The details are still wrapped under the company’s production plan, so there won’t be much information or insight to be shared. However, it’s believed that the special edition is basically the updated version of the M3 CS model. Production is said to start in March 2023 and it will continue to be included in the assembly line up to February 2024.
The Design and Appearance
In terms of exterior appearance and looks, this new 2025 BMW M3 special edition G80 would have a better exterior appearance, both in aerodynamic and aggressive look, when compared to the previous model. The car definitely looks great with oversized air intakes, somewhat more sculpted bonnet, and sportier front grille. Expect to find sharper creases and lines on the body, with the rear area having a redesigned diffuser and more prominent spoiler.

The G80 price isn’t known for now, but if you take a look at the M3 CS trim variant with its $90,000 price tag, it would be easy to imagine that a special edition model that will debut a year (or even two years) from now would cost more. It’s even possible that the tag price may reach $100,000. But many auto fans are sure that the improved exclusivity and performance will make it worth it as you can enjoy more performance and quality. The exact launch date isn’t known either, but it’s predicted that it may happen in 2024 or even at the very early of 2025.
It’s safe to say that if Beemer is truly able to deliver the promised result and it’s satisfying, this special edition would be a major hut among car enthusiasts in general and also Beemer loyal fans.
