The R1T offers a 600-horsepower Dual-Motor AWD configuration with any of the three battery packs.
GMC Sierra EV
The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 sets the bar high with its powerful electric drivetrain. It features front and rear electric motors that deliver all-wheel drive capability.

Regarding towing capacity, GMC claims that the Sierra EV can handle a maximum of 9,500 pounds. While the exact specifications for achieving this capacity have yet to be confirmed.
This vehicle has a great driving range of 400 miles on a single charge, owing to its sizable battery pack (exact size yet to be disclosed by GMC).
2024 Atlis XT

And hold onto your seat because the towing capacity of the Atlis XT is absolutely mind-blowing, set at a great 35,000 pounds. Yes, you heard that right!
With the option to include a gooseneck or fifth-wheel hitch, the Atlis XT is ready to easily tackle heavy-duty towing tasks. Starting at around $45,000 and reaching up to $85,000 for higher-end variants, this vehicle offers a compelling value proposition for electric truck enthusiasts.
Keep an eye out for the Atlis XT’s expected to release in early to mid-2023 or early 2024, though we’ll have to wait for official announcements from the company for more details.
F-150 Lightning
Coming in at number five, we have the Ford F-150 Lightning, an electrifying pickup truck that combines utility with incredible speed. With its amazing range and towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds, the Lightning proves that EVs can be just as capable as their gas-powered counterparts. But it doesn’t stop there.

And when it comes to stopping power, it impresses with a braking distance similar to that of a standard F-150. Handling? No problem. 2024 Ram 1500 REV
Ram has unveiled the production version of the Ram 1500 REV electric pickup, showcasing a design that closely resembles the gas-powered Ram trucks. The REV features futuristic headlights, taillights, and unique wheels.
While it retains the familiar body shape of a crew-cab with a short bed, it rides on a new STLA Frame, designed explicitly for electric body-on-frame models. Ram has also confirmed that a range-extender version with a gasoline engine will be available.
Although it may not include some of the concept’s more extravagant features, like third-row jump seats, it does offer a frunk. However, more details regarding power output, battery size, and range estimates will be revealed soon.
2024 Toyota Tacoma
Toyota pickup trucks have long been known for their reliability and performance. The Tacoma, in particular, has been a bestseller in its class for 17 years, thanks to its reputation for durability and high resale value. In 2024, Toyota is introducing a fully electric version of the Tacoma, the Tacoma EV, or Tacoma Electric.
Although details are limited, the Tacoma EV is expected to offer zero emissions, easy maintenance, and instant torque. The leaked images of the electric Tacoma reveal a sleek design with modern updates and off-road capabilities. All the other exact specifications are yet to be released.
2024 Chevrolet Silverado
Moving to number 8th on the list; The Chevy Silverado 1500 is a reliable and capable full-size pickup truck with a long-standing hard work heritage. With various powertrain options, including turbo four-cylinder, V-8, and Duramax diesel engines, the Silverado 1500 is ready for any job or adventure. While the ride can be rough, it offers great towing capacity, surpassing competitors like the Ram 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500.
This vehicle also offers various engine choices, with the 6.2-liter V-8 being the quickest and the diesel engine providing smooth and quiet operation. The truck’s handling is surprisingly agile, offering a Trail Boss model for off-road enthusiasts. With a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds, the Silverado 1500 is a capable hauler. It is expected that the 2024 model will either carry over the same plan or receive minor refreshments.
