The official announcement about 2025 Ford Lightning second gen electric truck comes after the company has forecasted their possible loss during 2023 sales for their EV. It’s predicted that they lose $3 billion on those EV sales. Part of their loss is resulted from their huge investment in their Tennessee and Kentucky facilities, mostly spending their money on alternate battery management. It’s basically a loss that they understand ‘must’ happen as their expanding their EV division. They need to make this initial sacrifice so they can continue making Mustang Mach-E and Lightning to meet buyers’ demands.
