Subaru Forester 2025 – The new Subaru Forester 2025 is said to undergo some crucial improvements and changes, especially for the upcoming model. The compact SUV has been known for its reliable performance and good quality. That’s why it’s able to compete against other brands, especially American brands, in the US auto market. The new changes are expected to boost sales and improve sales numbers, while proving a point that Subaru can be as good as other brands when it comes to making a compact but comfy family ride.
The Possible Updated Plan
It seems that Subaru is no longer only highlighting their attention to the Outback, which is the big SUV type. They are now focusing on the Crosstrek (or the smaller model) that has recently being added to the Wilderness family. Some family may not agree with the company’s move, but it’s just a plan, anyway. Well, for at least now. In fact, some auto artists have created the imaginary new (and the sixth gen) of Forester, if it ever gets into production as the upcoming model.
From the looks alone, the upcoming Forester doesn’t look bad, but let’s not forget that this is only an imaginary CGI model. The company hasn’t made any official announcement about their upcoming models, especially for the 2024 or the 2025 models. If you take a closer look to the imaginary Forester, not only it becomes smaller, but it looks similar to the new lines of models, such as Solterra, Ascent, and Crosstrek.
The Real Deal
There have been rumors about the Subaru Forester 2025 in the US market. However, it will still be coming as the all wheel driving model (with its symmetrical arrangement). This is basically one of the main appeals of the Subaru with their Forester models that can tackle all kinds of terrain regardless the weather, and the nice fuel efficient technology.
However, people are wondering whether Subaru will start making (and offering) the electric models instead of the internal combustion types. Not many people know that Forester has already had the hybrid version, offered since 2022 in other markets besides Canada and the US.
In Australia alone, the hybrid model has become super popular, especially with the four cylinder unit and CVT technology. With the (standard) 2.0 liter turbocharged unit, it is able to generate 250 hp. This isn’t entirely bad when compared to the American Forester with its flat four 2.5 liter unit that generates ‘only’ 182 hp.
Possibility of Hybridization
There is always a possibility that the 2025 model will be coming as a hybrid model instead of the internal combustion type, especially after the significant differences between the two Foresters from two different markets.
People don’t mind electric rides, but they want something punchy and powerful. If they can have a powerful electric vehicle, then they have nothing to complaint about. All these years, people always believe that internal combustion vehicles are far better than the electric types.
Possibility of Electrification
However, with the world is going toward electric rides these days, it’s also possible that Subaru is thinking about electrifying their upcoming Forester. People don’t mind when the Forester isn’t only Mother Earth friendly, but it should be pollution-free too.
For the purpose, Subaru has been working together with Toyota, meaning that you can expect significant improvement for the future Subaru’s models. But it’s unclear whether they will keep the X-Mode or the (symmetrical) all wheel driving system or not.
Price and Release Date
There is no ‘fixed’ information about the release date and the price range. It’s possible that the 2025 model may start from around $47,000 or even $48,000. Availability of the Subaru Forester 2025 may start in 2024, but again, we are still unsure about it.
