2025 Lexus ES Promising Performance Updates

There have been some improvements concerning the upcoming 2025 Lexus ES, which is said to experience touch-ups and refreshment. When it comes to comfort and convenience, the Lexus ES is definitely a luxury. This midsize vehicle is known for its excellent performance. When compared to other luxury brands, this one is definitely more affordable without compromising features and performance. Mercy E-Class and Audi A6 are some of the example rivals that have excellent performance, but they have exorbitant high tag. So, what can you expect from the new ES, anyway?

The Updated Plan

According to some plans, Lexus is manufacturing the new package (the F Sport Management) for the ES300h and ES350 models. They offered Dynamic Handling package last year, but it was only offered for the F Sports ES350 type. It comes with adjustable suspension, unique driving modes, and other features. Details would be revealed soon. Expect other features, including Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, assist software, (paid) Destination Assist service, and also ‘Hey Lexus’ smart tech. there won’t be the Remote Contact Interface, which has been considered annoying.

If you want to have more features, you should have the Navigation package, which includes DVD player, bigger infotainment display (up to 12.3 inch), liquid crystal (rearview) mirror, in dash navigation, and voice recognition system.

Powertrain Options

If everything goes as planned, the 2025 Lexus ES would be coming with 3 different powertrain options. The first one would be a four cylinder unit with 2.5 liter capacity (generating 203 hp) for ES250, which would be paired up with standard all wheel driving system. The second one would be the V6 unit with 3.5 liter capacity (generating 302 hp) for ES350, paired up with front wheel driving system and auto 8 speed transmission.

The third one would be a hybrid powertrain, generating 215 hp for the entire ES350h types. It would be paired up with CVT and standard front wheel driving system. The gas ES350 is able to reach 60 mph within 6.1 seconds, which isn’t bad at all. The hybrid ES350h (together with ES250 all wheel driving system) are able to reach 60 mph within 8.1 seconds and also 8.3 seconds. Not so bad, but then again, these models aren’t exactly the sports rides with high speed performance.

Performance Quality

The sedan comes with impressive riding quality and calm handling, which buyers with premium taste seek. The F sport has performance-focused suspension tune and wider wheels, while the ES is less sportier than others (such as Beemer 5-Series), but it is able to deliver satisfying outcome.

What about fuel efficiency? The ES350 comes with 22 mpg for the city and 32 mpg for the highway. The ES350h hybrid comes with 43 mpg for the city and 44 mpg for the highway. The new ES250 is predicted to have 25 mpg for the city and around 34 mpg for the highway.

Interior Cabin

The cabin is plush and comfortable. With the combination of premium materials, asymmetrical dashboard, and high end interior design, this vehicle has tons of promising outcome. Even tall people (the long legged type) can fit comfortably in any row, while enjoying the supportive comfort. The cabin is noiseless, and it’s consistently delivering so. With generous space for both passengers and cargo, this ride is able to offer more than the Acura TLX or Volvo S90. It’s quite unfortunate that it doesn’t have a folding seat on the back.
