With the 2024 Audi A4 Avant is said to undergo a redesigned work, it’s quite logical that people are curious about the new look and the novel styling. The vehicle has been spotted with heavy camo in the last (several) events, but the ride has finally dropped the came within the recent spy shot images. We can finally see the full view of the taillights and the grille although other parts are still in questions.
The Updated Plan
The (long roof) A4 was the last time seen in heavy cover. At that time, the grille was half covered (on the lower part) and the taillights were somewhat still placed on the placeholders. Although the camo wrap is still coming in a full body manner and not completely uncovered, there are some parts that can be ‘guessed’. Audi may have their plans to trick the buyers, but they are no longer trying to cover it. From the look of it, there are no bulky and hefty covers, no fake panels (at least from obvious point of view), and the seen taillights seem to be production-ready.
These images were spotted when the prototype was cruising quite casually in public. From the photos, you can see the taillight design quite easily. It gets more obvious as the driver hits the (turn) signal or steps on its brakes. You can see LED strips (managed in horizontal manner) in red, but with orange tint on the base on the taillights’ thin lenses. You can also see the parallelogram elements located on the higher area.
The only thing that can’t be visible seen is the fact whether the lights has a red reflector to connect them across the liftgate. If you take a close look, there are body lines right under the camouflaged, looking a perfect match to the lenses. You can also see the red section through the middle section of the camo.
The Exterior Appearance
On the front, it seems that the wider grille is already on its production-ready stage. It looks new where the grille isn’t dipping to the fascia’s bottom side. The body lines show somewhat triangular shaped elements around the corner vents. It somewhat suggests that it would be smaller than the current model. We can’t really tell about other parts of the exterior area, so we should wait for further announcement.
The Interior Cabin
What’s inside the new 2024 Audi A4 Avant is still unknown because there are no pictures of what it looks like. However, the previous images have shown different layout with rectangular digital display, and this offset layout is pretty big to suggest an idea that it’s possibly housed within a single screen. But because there is no official confirmation about it, we can only assume and predict.
Powertrain and Performance
When it comes to powertrain, it still remains a mystery. Audi hasn’t said anything about it although some sources have stated that hybrid power is definitely offered for the public. The 2024 model would be the last gen of A4 Avant that comes with combustion units. With Audi’s commitment to go with complete electrification structure, the company decided to do it sooner than later. Because of this factor, it’s possible that the upcoming A4 Avant may be coming without the sedan.
Price and Release Date
If everything goes as planned, the A4 Avant may be revealed sometime within 2023’s first half, but the exact date still needs to be confirmed. The information about the price is still shady too, so we can’t really have any confirmation about it. Keep in mind that the 2024 Audi A4 will only be manufactured for European market, so you can’t really expect it to arrive in the US.
