2025 Buick Enclave: What New Model to Expect?

If you are one of those Enclave fans, be ready because the suspected 2025 Buick Enclave has been spied undergoing its first testing on the road just recently. A lot of auto enthusiasts are waiting (and being curious) because the vehicle is said to get some major updates. But then again, we don’t really know what’s totally new from the ride considering that it is going to get some significant refresh work – if not a complete redesigned touch-up.

About Buick Enclave

The current Enclave we have today is the second gen one, which launched in 2017 (as 2018 model) and then got a refresh work in 2022. It means that the upcoming 2025 Buick Enclave would be introduced as the third gen vehicle that comes with the latest updates. A lot of speculations have been going on, saying that the new Enclave may get a completely new design. But some say that the design language may still be the same, but with new touch-ups and refreshed work.

The Model Line

It seems that there’s nothing much to change when it comes to model line. The new Enclave is said to still come with the same lineup as Buick Envista as well as Buick Encore GX. It means that you should expect Preferred as the entry model, with Sport Touring as the higher trim, and then Avenir as the highest trim option. The details of each trim are still unknown, so it’s better that we wait and see.

The Exterior Appearance

It’s quite hard to tell what the new 2025 Buick Enclave would look like, considering that the spied prototype was coming in a full camo. We can only guess from what appears from the curves and bulges. When it comes to the shape, it seems changing. The fascia and grille look to be more prominent. The front end comes with design cues inspired by the Wildcat, having slim (daytime) running lights, solid square face, and long hood.

The design as a five door and full size CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) will stay the same. The vehicle looks somewhat athletic. The front side has this solid and strong stance, which is hidden by a unique cladding, which is predicted to look similar to other Buick models launched recently. It’s hard to tell what the new Enclave has in store, but hopefully, it’s something really good.

It’s rather difficult to determine what’s happening on the back, thanks to the full camo. But some small elements and spoilers, showing off what appears to be new (and redesigned) taillights. From the looks of it, there are two tailpipes (if you see clearly) poking out from under the vehicle’s rear bumper. The roof spoiler looks good, and it’s possible that it would incorporate lighting element with full width arrangement.

Interior Design

Rumor has it that the biggest updates would be happening on the cabin. It would come with new materials, new colors, and also new design. Although it’s hard to tell what’s happening on the inside, the spy photos showed some silhouettes and cue designs of the cabin. It seems that a full width and big curved display would dominate the dash, making the new Enclave looks similar to Electra E5. Naturally, you can also expect new features and new updated technologies for the model.

Powertrain and Performance

What about the powertrain? It’s hard to tell considering that the current model is already powerful enough with V6 unit of 3.6 liter that can generate 310 hp and 266 Nm of torque. It comes with auto 9 speed transmission and front wheel driving system. It’s possible that Buick is offering a hybrid system, but again, we aren’t really sure.
