The upcoming 2025 Toyota Highlander is said to have a refresh updates. As one of the big-type SUVs from the auto manufacturer, it’s quite logical if Toyota wants to keep an updated appearance and performance for the vehicle. Rumor has it that Highlander would be coming with improved performance, including high tech features, better (and also bigger) multimedia screen, and different powertrain options.
The Updated Plan
If everything goes as planned, the 2025 Toyota Highlander would have better features and technologies. There would be 11-speaker JBL Audio System premium that comes together with standard Multi-Information Display with 12.3 inch of size. Another display screen would also come with 12.3 inch of size to replace the 7 inch TFT screen. Expect to find 4 different models for the visual (increased for personalized function) covering Sporty, Smart, Relax, and Powerful. You should also expect the upcoming Highlander to have standard front wheel driving system.
For the interior cabin, Highlander will still offer the spacious and roomy layout. Passengers can enjoy their ride quite comfortably, while enjoying the features. The standard seats would be made from woven fabrics, but buyers can go with perforated leather and SoftTex if they go with the higher trim level. There would be even cabin lighting (LED type) inside the cabin for the Platinum and Limited trim levels.
Information is also limited for the exterior appearance. The XSE, for instance, would have a distinctive look which is quite obvious on the lower spoiler, headlights, grille, and front fascia. The rocker panels are unique, delivering an even edgy appearance to the (sculptural) line. To top it off with the cool effect, the vehicle will also comes with mirror caps, window molfing, twin exhaust tips, and also black roof rails.
Powertrain and Performance
Unfortunately, there is no information about the offered powertrains. But Toyota makes sure that they are making not only a comfortable vehicle, but also a practical one. They are planning on gas as well as hybrid powertrain, and each of them will get two options (or so what they say).
The XSE, for instance, would be coming with Dynamic Torque Vectoring (for all wheel driving system) or the front wheel driving option. It also offers all season tires with exclusive black (alloy) wheels in 20 inch. The XSE is even said to have a (specially) tuned suspension with rear stabilizer bars, low friction shock absorbers, and high speed springs that work together with the (tuned) electric power steering, delivering impressive outcome and performance.
Color Options
There would be some fun and exciting color options for the new Highlander. The Highlander Platinum and Limited would likely be coming with new Cypress hue, which is quite elegant and classy. There would also Glazed Caramel and Harvest Beige to match up the interior. Black would be used as the accent hue, replacing the old Brown Noble.
For Highlander Limited, there would be Cement colors for the exterior area, which is pretty exclusive to their Bronze Edition, along with Black Midnight Metallic and also Wind Chili Pearl colors. The Bronze Edition offers bronze accents, including the bronze 18 inch (alloy) wheels.
Release Date and Price
The starting price may begin from around $38,500 (it already includes destination) up to $52,000 for the highest trim level. Details for each trim and features are still limited. When is the Highlander likely released? There is no information about it, but many sources have stated that it will take place in 2024. It’s most likely that the 2025 Toyota Highlander will release after the middle of the year, so we need to wait for further updates.
