Mercy has just updated their 2024 GLE, so they won’t have anything detailed or informative if you are looking for 2025 Mercedes GLE updates. If you check the net, the company has just given refreshment and special treatment to their 2024 model year, including incorporating hybrid unit for all of its models. With the auto maker being so focused on the latest 2024 model, it’s difficult to tell of what the 2025 model would look like, or what the company has in store for their upcoming model.
What to Expect?
GLE is one of the most popular and high ranking (midsize) SUVs. For the 2024 model year, the auto maker is updating its line by performing interior and exterior updates, having updated equipment and technology, and adding electrified powertrain to the entire lineup.
Exterior Appearance and Model
Expect a modern look and styling on the outside. You should be able to find refined headlights (and also taillights), new looking front bumper, and also new exterior colors. The AMG Line exterior would be the standard for GLE 580 4MATIC, but optional for other models. With this line, you can expect AMG front fascia having chrome trim elements, AMG rear fascia having an insert with diffuser look, diamond grille and chrome Mercy’s pattern, and also AMG (side) sill panels with body-color wheel arch clad.
The Interior Cabin
The GLE is known for its plush and cozy interior cabin. It gets some refreshment, including chrome finish for the side and center air vents, new color palettes, and also sensor surfaces (within horizontal spokes). This enables the driver to use the steering wheel to operate central and driver displays.
Powertrain and Performance

For the GLE 350, it would be paired up with (base) four cylinder turbo unit with 2.0 liter capacity. For the GLE 450, it would be an inline six turbo unit with 3.0 liter capacity. And for GLE 580, it would be a V8 twin turbo unit with 4.0 liter capacity.
Moreover, the new variant, the GLE 400 e 4MATIC (with its plug in hybrid system) would be coming with a sync motor that can generate 134 hp. As a result, you can expect a combined output of 381 hp and also 479 Nm of torque. All 4MATIC variants (the GLE 350, GLE 450, and GLE 580) are coming with top speed reaching 130 mph. The 350 (4MATIC, mind you) comes with 255 hp, able to reach 60 mph within 7.0 seconds. Not bad at all.
The 450 has 375 hp, able to reach 60 mph within 5.3 seconds – even a more impressive outcome. And then finally, the 580, is able to deliver 510 hp. It is able to reach 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. It’s even more impressive and somewhat punchy.
Price and Release Date
The 2024 GLE (all of its models) is expected to ready at dealerships in 2023, although the exact launch date is still unknown. At least, that’s the planning for the US auto market. Information about the price range is not known, so we need to wait for the company’s official release. What can we expect from the 2025 model? It’s too early to tell. But if the 2024 model GLE turns out to be impressive and amazing, then we have positive things to expect from the 2025 Mercedes GLE.
