The 2024 Cadillac XT4 is scheduled to get a full refreshed project for this luxury and exclusive crossover. The vehicle would experience a refreshed exterior design, the latest tech features, and a new interior cabin. Although the exterior design would be tweaked a bit, the main focus would be on the interior cabin.
The Updated Plan
The subcompact (luxury) crossover has been spotted going through testing stage. The prototype vehicle has been spotted although it still wears heavy camouflage to cover the changes. But from the camo and design, it seems that the spotted prototype has been for the Sport trim because of the (glossy) black grille, body color door handles, longitudinal roof rails, and window trim.
Some spy shots have shown the refreshed vehicle with new front fascia, together with updated grilles and headlights. The lighting arrangements and layout seem to change too because they are located in various different spots. The updates also happen on the rear, but not so much. The refreshed work seems to be minor and is only visible when you take a closer look.
Cabin and Features
For the interior, expect a new and curved panel frame stretching across the dashboard. This panel would include the infotainment touchscreen and also instrument cluster for drivers. The head up display house may be bulkier than before, but the design for the steering wheel would be revised, and it includes bigger (chrome) accents for the lower spoke.
Expect the car to come with Super Cruise system. One of the prototypes has shown the cues from the camera (the driver facing type) and the steering wheel. There is also one prototype having a (metallic) speaker grille within the A-pillar construction, indicating that there would be a new upgrade for the sound system or there would be a design change.
Powertrain and Performance
The 2024 Cadillac XT4 will likely still use the same unit despite the refreshed work. The carryover powertrain would be the gas inline four turbocharged unit with 2.0 liter capacity, delivering 235 hp and 258 Nm of torque. It’s also possible that the vehicle would be coming with auto 9 speed transmission, paired together with front wheel driving system (which is set as the standard) or four wheel driving system (for the optional pick). The manufacturing process is expected to take place at Fairfax Assembly plant, located in Kansas City.
